It’s no secret that Fall is the most popular time of the year for weddings. As the leaves get ready to change and cooler temperatures start to make their way into the forecast, it provides a sense of relief from the dead heat of summer and makes for the most picturesque backdrop for your wedding photos.
Although the leaves hadn’t quite changed yet for Leah & Brian’s wedding at Juniper Springs Wedding Barn in early September, their wedding day was no exception to the beauty that time of year brings. Having first met each other a few years earlier working as summer camp counselors at Gavin Park in Wilton, NY, Leah & Brian moved away for a few years to pursue their careers but as fate would have it, they found themselves moving back to Schuylerville just weeks before their wedding.
After a morning of getting ready at their parents’ houses with their closest friends and family, Leah & Brian made their way to Juniper Springs Wedding Barn in Corinth where they shared a private first look just steps from the pond. Followed by family portraits and bridal party photos, Leah & Brian soon made their way back to the bridal suite as guests began to arrive for a stunning outdoor ceremony under blue skies.
As tradition would have it, shortly after Leah’s dad escorted her down the aisle, Leah and Brian exchanged vows and officially sealed the deal with their first kiss in front of about 100 of their closest friends and family. True to their easy-going personalities, Leah & Brian’s reception was a laid-back celebration complete with a BBQ buffet, a homemade wedding cake courtesy of Leah’s Aunt Mary and a night of dancing like nobody’s watching.
With golden hour portraits that were to die for as Leah & Brian made their way back down to the pond where they shared their first look, check out a preview of their wedding gallery below!
“Juniper Springs Wedding Barn is a 3,920 square foot, timber frame event venue and wedding barn. With large, ten foot high barn door openings on both ends and fully retractable all-weather sides, your event can have an open air feel while also having the needed protection from the elements. It is one of the few indoor outdoor Upstate New York barn wedding venues near Saratoga Springs, NY. Abundant natural light during the day sets a warm mood for the early reception hours. As the sun sets, the LED uplighting and party lights bring the dance floor to life to make your wedding reception a celebration to remember.”
